Informative, well written and fun. I have discovered a lot of things I didnt know about the city I live in thanks to Best of Brussels. The daily post comes in every morning around 9am so reading it with a coffee it is a great way to start the day.

Great, informative and versatile blog for Brussels-dummies like me :D I only know Brussels thanks to my dear friends and your blog. Despite me working there for 3 years already, I still feel like a city-newbie as I live in another Belgian city. Your blog helped me to discover cool places for lunch-time or late Friday night hang-outs. I like different categories of posts and I am sure it's a very good blog to recommend to any newcomer to Brussels!

Excellent blog for anyone living or passing through Brussels. I appreciate the range of information covered. You will find up to the minute information on everything from expos, shopping, restaurants and anything in between. Nothing is left to the imagination as all posts are always accompanied with beautiful photos. Janes writing style will have you immediately hooked...there is never a dull moment:)

If only Best of Brussels had been around when I first arrived in Belgium ten years ago! It is especially great for newcomers to Brussels, which is not an easy city to get to know. Expertly written, the posts always include the perfect balance of external links, contact information and pictures to keep the reader's attention. I turn to Jane's blog first before I plan the week ahead :)

This blog definitely deserves to be recognized as one of the top Expat Blogs. Its always updated, covers diverse topics (restaurants, cultural events, shopping, etc) and brings together useful information that is not easily accessible to foreigners in Brussels. When I meet someone new in Brussels, I automatically direct them to this blog. :)

I've been in Brussels for almost 4 years - and like many ex-pats, I fell into routines here, and in a lot of ways still feel like I know very little about the city I live in. But Best of Brussels has been a great source for exploring a city I've already been in for years! Fun, great tips, and loads of goodies to be found!

I find that Best of Brussels provides just enough information and insights on how to have a good time in Brussels. It helped me find out about interesting places and events that I didn't find on other pages I subscribed to. So, thumbs up for Best of Brussels.

I love reading Best of Brussels for the best tips on where to shop, eat and visit. As relatively new arrivals to Brussels, we rely on Best of Brussels to help us navigate the city. Many a time the blog has pointed us towards that secret restaurant, hard-to-find furniture store or beautiful brunch place that makes life in Brussels more enjoyable!

I started reading the Best of Brussels blog even before I moved to the city. It was such a great way to learn about my soon to be home. Since actually moving here, it has kept me up to date on all events happening in Brussels. All of the recommendations on the site I have agreed with so far, which is very important. I highly recommend this site to anyone moving to Brussels and especially if they are moving here from America.

The former Prime Minister of Belgium, Guy Verhofstadt, once said that "There is no miracle cure for the many problems of the world." However, Best of Brussels is definitely something to be taken on a daily basis against the 'Brussels Blues' that many an xpat has faced in this town. I would have given the blog 5 stars but in the article 'The Ultimate Brussels Burger Guide' from January this year the Old Oak pub was omitted. This was like doing a guide to the churches of Rome and forgetting the Sistine Chapel.

I can't imagine making it through the weekly grind minus regular instalments of Bestofbrusselsblog. It lightens my spirit and keeps my old bones up to date. A much needed breath of fresh air.
