Our expat life writing contests were open to expat bloggers listed on ExpatsBlog and consisted of a different expat-related theme and 4 prizes totalling $350 every contest. Writing Contest October 2012

Competition details:
Prizes: The winner receives $500. The runner up receives $100. NEW - BONUS runner-up receives $100 (this winner picked from remaining entries without voting as a judging component!)
How to Enter: We wanted you to write about what you know! Entrants had to write about your expat experiences, writing in any style they liked, but the emphasis being helpful to others looking to expatriate/emigrate as they did.
Contest Terms: Entries judged by the ExpatsBlog.com team, with creativeness and passion being two strong factors! Deadline for all entries was 31st October 2012 with winners announced on 10th November 2012 (revised from 7th). Entries had to be based on your expat experience and unique and previously unpublished. Minimum word count was 1000 words, maximum 5000 words. Entries to be published online allowing for comments. Copyright remains with the author, but ExpatsBlog.com has the unrestricted right to publish the entries on this website.
