NIGEL'S RAMBLES
A blog mostly featuring lots of photographs and some words describing my explorations of the high Apennines between Tuscany and Emilia and the Po Valley in Emilia. The articles about the Apennines are spit up into single day walks and cover the whole range from Corno della Scala, Bologna to Passo Cisa, Parma From time to time I stray from the main theme to talk about photography or anything else that interests me.

A nearby work appointment gave me the opportunity to visit this Romanesque Cathedral in the small city of Fidenza, near Parma. The Cathedral dates from 1117, but has been much altered over the centuries. It is famous...
