I am looking at moving to Belize in a few years from the USA. I haven't travelled there but I am planning to make a trip soon. I am very interested in the San Ignacio area. We are not really "beach" people. We are Irish and Scottish background, so we are fair. I would like to get some REAL ideas about cost and quality of building there, cost of living, medical care, etc. The things that are real in life. We want a calmer, more quaint type of life to retire in. Could anyone share? Thanks!
