I volunteered in Nicaragua in my late teens with Amigos de las Americas & lived in Orinoco & Pearl Lagoon! I just found your blog. I never made it to Corn Island but it sounds nice. I'm thinking in next few years to retire to Nicaragua. Thanks for writing blog.
