British expat single mother abused and intimidated by Cymergest administrators

A British single mother is now fighting to stay in her Costa del Sol home despite being harassed by lawyers.
In the second case of this nature within several months, a single mother and her son are now suffering ongoing abuse by administrators of the development where she's living because she won her court cast against their sale of her home. Victoria Jenkins, her four-year old son and her husband left the UK to settle in Mijas in 2012, but her husband didn’t return after a business trip to Indonesia, leaving his wife and son Samuel in an apartment registered in his name. It took Victoria three long years of court battles to win the right to have full custody of her son and to continue living in the apartment until he was 18 years old.
Subsequent to the court’s decision, all was well until she returned home one day to find the locks had been changed in her absence. On calling the administrators, Cymergest, she was stunned to hear her home had been sold without her knowledge and she was to be evicted. Contacting her lawyer resulted in her being told the property had been sold at auction due to a ground tax debt of €25,000 run up by her husband. She hadn’t been told about this and there had been no viewings of her home.
Unfortunately for the new owner, the original court ruling allowing her to stay in the property until Samuel was 18 year old was still in force and will continue to be so, but Victoria and her son are now the victims of an ongoing campaign of harassment and abuse aimed at getting them to leave their home. Victoria believes Cymergest are to blame for cutting off her water supply several times and being escorted off by security guards every time she and her son attempted to use the communal swimming pool. She’s called in the police and has filed a denucia aimed at the company’s president, but the abuse is continuing.
It would seem that Victoria and her son aren’t the only expat residents who’ve fallen foul of Cymergest’s tactics, as a local British expat newspaper reported a similar case to the media several months ago, involving the same administrators and claiming he was forced to sleep outside due to a loud noise keeping him awake all night. He also claimed he was being harassed and intimidated by the president of the company. The newspaper is now asking readers who’ve had similar problems with Cymergest to contact them, and expats are being warned not to take up residence in other Cymergest developments.
