This is a excellent blog, David is down to earth, honest and very informative in life in poland today, although he has not welcomed my comments, he is good reading for somebody wishing to experience life in poland as seen from somebody who has lived in the United States. Always interesting reading and comments, recommended reading..

David and his blog are always a source of information. Unlike those travel blogs which only are about tourist attractions, David's allow the average person to know how the average person lives in Poland.

I am originally from Poznan, have been living abroad for quite some time now and I simply love to read this blog! It makes me feel as if I was back home, with all the stories, photos, news, etc... thank you

I 'tuned in' to David's blog from the beginning, and have been amazed at the dedication, the details, the sheer effort that David puts into this blog (of course with the gracious cooperation too, of his wife Joan) that reveal their passion and interest in Poland, their ancestrym, the culture, language and life that they have created for themselves there. They are to be commended for the courage it took to make such changes when to most others, 'retirement' means don't do too much, rest. Not them! They not only acted upon their convictions, took many risks with their future, and hit-the-ground running in terms of learning so many new things-- of necessity and for sheer enjoyment. Bravo to both of you, and may your chosen lifestyle continue to unfold with a flourish!
